Members: Plan to attend our AGM on March 1st!

Come to our Annual General Meeting on Thursday March 1st from 7:00-8:30pm (registration opens at 6:00pm) and have your voice be heard!
As a member-owner of The Mustard Seed Co-operative Grocery, it is your responsibility to keep up to date on how our community-owned business is doing. You will get the chance to hear about what’s been happening, and what you can expect in the upcoming year. Members in good standing will also be able to vote on any resolutions and for new Board members to join our Board of Directors (if applicable). Each member household gets 1 vote, and every vote counts!

We will be registering members and serving food as you come in, allowing for time to mix and mingle with fellow members.  During the meeting, we’ll be presenting our annual financial report, hearing from various co-op staff and committees, and electing new directors to the Board. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what The Mustard Seed does and how we operate, as well as a chance to be involved and to meet other members.

All members had an AGM package (include the agenda, board candidate bios, resolutions, and last year’s meeting minutes) as well at the 2017 Annual Report sent via email on  Feb 19th, as per our bylaws. Please note our meeting location: the 2018 AGM will be held at Erskine Presbyterian Church, 19 Pearl St. North, a few blocks from the Co-op. Main accessible entrance is through this door offset from Pearl Street. Parking is available at the Co-op, or on neighbourhood streets but please try to walk, bike, or take transit if you are able.

Board candidate nominations were due on February 5th and are now closed. We are seeking 7 candidates for the Board this year. A call for member resolutions was also emailed to all members on February 1 and the deadline of Feb 10th has now past.
