April 14. 1pm
Join us for an informal workshop in the Co-op’s cafe space as we discuss how to reduce plastic from your household, starting with food shopping. We will cover a few topics during the session, including:
How to prepare for plastic-free shopping: shopping supplies, where to shop (The Mustard Seed of course!),
How to choose product: comparing brands, coping with limited choice (expectations) and environmental impact,
What is happening around the world? and
How to begin to bring about change, personally, and in our City.
We will be joined by two plastic-free gurus, Dawn Davis & Lindsey Wilson.
Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect. Kids are also weocome – if you plan on bringing children please let us know their ages so we can plan appropriately. Registration through Eventbrite.
